KLM: VR ACTIVATION
Next Round, a Korean creative advertising agency, teamed up with Scopic to produce an extraordinary VR brand activation for KLM Asia. They carefully designed and 3D printed custom binoculars, the ones you regularly find on tall buildings, but installed Oculus Rift VR instead of the standard lenses. By placing these binoculars throughout Seoul, KLM brings the trip to the Korean citizen instead of the other way around.
We captured some of the most iconic views in and around Amsterdam in VR 360 video and combined these with recorded ambient sounds of the city. On YouTube, the showcase video reached nearly 500.000 views.
